Originally commissioned by the BBC, this forensic investigation into the targeting of medical infrastructure and healthcare workers in Gaza was shelved by public broadcaster, citing “partiality” concerns. In response, more than 100 BBC staffed penned an open letter, condemning the refusal to publish the film as censorship and political suppression. At long last, the rights to the film were released back to the production company Basement Films, who have distributed it online through Zeteo.
The documentary shares the exclusive testimony of Palestinian doctors and healthcare workers in Gaza and examines the Israeli military's attacks on hospitals, which is a breach of international law. WPFF is proud to share it for free with our community, in memory of all healthcare workers targeted during the genocide, and in opposition to censorship of the Palestinian experience.
Presented in collaboration with UR SADACA and Health Care Workers for Palestine Rochester.
